Job Title: Cloud Software Engineer - Transportation Management

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our Transportation Management division at Tyler Technologies. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and running secure, scalable, and performant applications and services using cutting-edge cloud technologies and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Research complex technical problems, formulate recommendations, and build technically sound and scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-ready automation workflows and utilities to use throughout application deployment lifecycle.
  • Proactively maintain, monitor, and validate performance of Tyler's hosted application and environment for availability, performance, responsiveness, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure application reliability and resiliency by deploying and using the latest monitoring tools.
  • Own technical problems from identification through resolution.
  • Plan for capacity and future growth and expansion of the environment to accommodate projected client/end-user growth to ensure maximum availability and performance of the environment.
  • Ensure recovery capabilities meet or exceed service level agreements.
  • Troubleshoot hosted application issues including off-hours support during on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with development, deployment, and support of applications in Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a CI/CD environment.
  • 2+ years of experience implementing or maintaining highly available and secure systems.
  • 3+ years of experience with the.NET technology stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC,.NET 5 and above).
  • Experience writing lambda functions in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Go, C# etc.
  • Experience with event-driven Microservice Architectures.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
  • Experience with databases including Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and DynamoDB.

Travel: 5-10%
