* Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse
* Support the activities of certified nurse assistants and actively participate in the direct care of residents
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
* Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
* Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
* BLS validation and re-validation in accordance with AHA standards
* Long-term care experience preferred
Working Conditions:
* May be exposed to disagreeable conditions, including odors, communicable diseases, and injuries from residents or equipment
Environmental Factors:
* Must be able to push, lift, and transfer residents
* Must be able to work on feet for extended periods
