Licensed Practical Nurse Ortho Nursing Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at McAuley Residence SNF Sub Acute. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a registered nurse
* Coordinate and support the activities of certified nurse assistants
* Participate in the direct care of residents, following the specific approaches outlined in the plan of care
Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
* Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing
* Currently registered in New York State as a Licensed Practical Nurse
* Long-term care experience preferred
* One year of experience in the job to perform in an acceptable manner
Working Conditions:
* Strenuous positions, including pushing, lifting residents, and being on feet most of the day
Environment:
* May be exposed to disagreeable conditions, including odors, communicable diseases, infections, and injuries from residents or equipment
