Responsibilities

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist plays a vital role in our Laboratory services team, performing routine and STAT laboratory testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Verifying and communicating test results with the multidisciplinary team

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Generalist experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology (PCR, Rapid Testing)
  • NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (ASCP) or eligibility
  • Knowledge of Federal (CLIA) and NYS regulatory requirements
  • 1-2 years recent experience
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and rotating weekends and holidays as needed
