Position Summary

In this role, you will operate under general supervision while adhering to established guidelines and protocols. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a range of service functions to our valued clients. You will address inquiries and clarify available products and services to effectively meet customer needs. This position encompasses the responsibilities of a New Account Representative, Customer Service Representative, and Teller, all performed with professionalism and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay informed and comply with all relevant banking regulations and Community National Bank policies.
  • Welcome clients as they enter the branch with a friendly and supportive demeanor.
  • Provide outstanding customer service for various banking needs, directing lending inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Explain different account options and ownership types to customers.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Community National Bank's products and services, offering detailed information to clients.
  • Ensure accurate processing of new accounts by preparing necessary documentation and assisting clients with signatures.
  • Open IRA/HSA accounts while informing customers of legal requirements.
  • Manage check orders and account maintenance tasks such as name, address, and signer updates.
  • Initiate debit card orders and handle requests for lost, closed, or stolen cards.
  • Facilitate gift card transactions.
  • Process customer transactions through the CIP program.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding online banking and bill payment services.
  • Open and manage Safe Deposit Boxes, ensuring customer access and monitoring for overdue statuses.
  • Handle wire transfers and stop payment requests.
  • Process incoming mail transactions efficiently.
  • Perform teller duties, including customer verification, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash checks, and balancing the cash drawer.
  • Utilize the Cash Recycler for cash transactions.
  • Manage large cash amounts and ensure daily cash drawer accuracy.
  • Assist with end-of-day procedures, including cash drawer balancing, coin machine operation, report generation, and verification of teller batches.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Be available for overtime as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned that fall within the scope of this job classification.
