Job Title: Senior Vice President Enterprise Risk

At Redwood Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President Enterprise Risk to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of risk management professionals to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement risk-based policies and procedures.
  • Provide risk management guidance and support to business units and departments to ensure effective risk management practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date on emerging risks and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior leadership on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on risk management best practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in risk management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of risk management professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior leadership and business units.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk management.
