The Counselor III will be stationed at the Stockton campus and may engage in program management across multiple university locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance to students and parents through various communication channels, ensuring clarity and understanding of financial aid processes.
  • Process financial aid applications and documentation with discretion, applying independent judgment to determine eligibility for federal, state, and institutional programs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to financial aid administration.
  • Mentor and train junior financial aid counselors, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate with other university departments to ensure accurate financial aid data management.
  • Oversee specific financial aid programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective fund management.
