Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate or Vice President to join our Financial Sponsors Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting senior coverage officers and their private equity clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal groups to provide integrated solutions to clients, leveraging the full breadth of firm resources.
  • Stay current on market trends and industry dynamics, providing regular updates to senior coverage officers.
  • Support senior coverage, industry, and product bankers on transaction execution, including M&A, Leveraged Finance, and Public Issuances.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with new and existing clients, providing transaction support and creative thinking.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of investment banking experience. MBA or other accreditation preferred.
  • Experience in credit underwriting and financial modeling.
  • Lives in New York or willing to relocate.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and accounting skills/knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
  • Resourceful self-starter with autonomy.
  • Demonstrated team player and leader.
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer

Jefferies offers a competitive salary range of $225,000 - $275,000, with an annual discretionary incentive and retention bonus.
