Key Responsibilities- Customer Account Management: Acquire and maintain customers, act as a customer liaison, and resell the benefits of timely rental/lease agreement renewal payments.
- Store Operations: Assist in managing store personnel, direct activities of one or more employees, and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Decipher, prepare, and review store reports, document all customer commitments, and fill out paperwork for submission to corporate support.
- Inventory and Cash Management: Manage customer accounts, inventory, and cash assets, and prepare daily work schedules, delivery schedules, and assign tasks.
- Effective Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Established Collection Skills: Proven experience in collections, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Good Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with employees and customers.
- Education and Experience: Two years' experience in Rent-to-Own, retail, or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales, and merchandising.
The position requires prolonged driving, standing, and working in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions. The ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics is also required.
