  • The Applications Specialist serves as a vital support resource for technology initiatives provided by the EMS group, encompassing Energy Management System (EMS) displays, Control Center Wallboards, end-user EMS workstations, and substations.
  • The individual comprehends user requirements alongside EMS business protocols and workflows pertinent to the respective department.
  • This role involves collaborating with users to ascertain display specifications, offering user assistance, coordinating and/or executing testing for system modifications, and working with end users on technology enhancements.
  • The incumbent collaborates with users to prepare, document, and create presentations, effectively conveying business system requirements and may advocate for user needs in the formulation of functional specifications.
  • The Associate receives mentorship and guidance from the EMS team and leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An associate degree is acceptable.
  • Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field; or four years of equivalent experience is required.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is $45.00 per hour.
