Sales Associate

At Buchheit Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team in the Lawn and Garden department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, determining their needs, and recommending products.
- Offer product knowledge and advice on utilization and care of merchandise.
- Answer customer questions and concerns in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Stock and recover merchandise, maintain a clean and organized work area, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
- Ensure proper signage is in place throughout the assigned department and assist with inventory preparation.
- Assist with creating special orders and maintain a safe working environment.
- Promptly handle customer complaints, questions, or concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must have a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and effectively communicate with customers, in-person and over the phone.
- Multi-tasking and maintaining a pleasant disposition under stress are essential.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
