Sales Associate Job Description

Buchheit Inc is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to make personalized recommendations.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, including features, benefits, and warranties, to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Manage store displays and visual merchandising to create an engaging and inviting shopping environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and recovering merchandise.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and promote a positive store culture.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
