Warehouse Lead Job Description

Consolidated Supply Co. is a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, hydronic heating, and water works products in the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Lead to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure seamless delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, shipping, and order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse operating systems to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
  • Train and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse leadership role, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and experience with dispatching trucks.
  • Ability to perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with modern warehousing and distribution technologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
