Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team at Ultium Cells LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of maintenance team members, ensuring department goals are met.
  • Administer preventive and predictive maintenance programs for facility equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
  • Facilitate team member development and growth through performance feedback, coaching, and documentation.
  • Enforce safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Document and follow up on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain related records, logs, and paperwork.
  • Ensure team members utilize time effectively.
  • Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Monitor completion of tasks and work orders.
  • Resolve team member issues, complaints, or grievances.
  • Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
  • Coordinate work orders, production, vendors, and contractors.
  • Lead and foster a culture that values innovation, personal ownership, and overall Ultium Cells values.
Requirements
  • Strong electrical background, including high voltage distribution, with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Experience in common facility components, including hot liquid boilers, steam boilers, chilled water systems, HVAC systems, dust collection systems, power distribution, and chemical transfer systems, with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and software use in building management systems.
  • Ability to track, develop, and interpret metrics.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to communicate changes and provide updates to appropriate personnel and management on all shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation.
