Position Overview:

We are in search of a seasoned Infrastructure/Technical Consultant with a strong background in Oracle EBS to manage Infrastructure and IT Operations for a significant federal financial system. This role will be pivotal in defining the future of IT infrastructure technology, methodologies, and protocols. You will provide strategic oversight and consultation to the federal lead in the administration of financial systems infrastructure and IT operations. Collaboration with system integrators and various stakeholders will be essential to enhance operational efficiencies and meet strategic objectives.

This position offers a hybrid work model. Onsite presence may be required a couple of days each week.

Eligibility: Only US Citizens

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for Financial Systems infrastructure, including applications, databases, networks, IT Operations, and Security Operations.
  • Evaluate and offer insights on system integrator Infrastructure Security and network deliverables.
  • Recommend enhancements, innovative designs, and improvements to the existing technology stack, policies, and procedures.
  • Assess proposals for technical upgrades or changes and deliver independent evaluations.
  • Analyze current processes and procedures, suggesting modifications to enhance efficiency, traceability, and transparency in IT Operations for management reporting.
  • Evaluate understanding and implementation of Cloud technologies.
  • Contribute technical expertise to advance Oracle cloud solutions.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing insights, recommendations, and technical feasibility in areas such as:
    • Storage Optimization
    • Governance of scaling processes
    • Architectural design
  • Follow up on action items and drive initiatives on behalf of the federal lead.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 15 years of experience in Oracle EBS implementation and operations in a technical role such as DBA, Technical Architect, Infrastructure Lead, or Technical Manager.
  • Experience leading at least one implementation or operations project utilizing cloud technologies, specifically OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Proven experience in migrating EBS clients to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and optimizing their solutions.
  • Knowledge and experience in security operations.
  • Hands-on experience with EBS Applications and Databases as required.
  • Strong technical and communication skills to effectively serve as an advisor and consultant to the federal lead.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle and Cloud Technologies are desirable.
