Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care, including taking vital signs, operating medical equipment, and documenting patient information.
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and verify patient information.
  • Provide general clerical support, including filing, data entry, and preparing reports.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve coordinated patient-centered care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and provide interpretation support as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a medical assistant program with 180-hour internship required.
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records preferred.
