Cardiology Specialist Opportunity:

Bon Secours Mercy Health is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled board eligible or board-certified Cardiologist to become a part of our esteemed Heart and Vascular Institute. This role emphasizes a clinical cardiology focus, encompassing a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging as per the candidate's training and interests.

Our Heart & Vascular Institute stands as the largest and continually expanding practice in the region, comprising a team of 15 employed cardiologists, including 4 interventional cardiologists and 3 electrophysiology specialists. The practice is supported by 10 advanced practice clinicians who facilitate care delivery across both inpatient and outpatient environments. We operate at 5 locations while providing services to 4 hospitals within the surrounding area.

The Heart and Vascular group also features 2 board-certified Cardiothoracic surgeons and 4 board-certified vascular surgeons. Our service line manages a high volume of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures annually. This cohesive specialist team collaborates extensively, including participation in a multidisciplinary valve clinic that enhances our robust TAVR and Structural Heart Program, which is uniquely positioned as the only TAVR program within a significant driving distance.

Our facility is recognized as a Level 1 trauma center, a certified stroke center, and holds chest pain certification with PCI capabilities, alongside being the sole sepsis center of excellence in the region.

This position offers an employment opportunity with no overhead or buy-in obligations.

The call schedule is structured as 1:9 for weeknights and 1:3 for weekends.
