Cardiology Position:
Bon Secours Mercy Health is in search of a dedicated and skilled board eligible or board-certified Cardiologist to become a part of our esteemed Heart and Vascular Institute. This role focuses on clinical cardiology with a blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging as per training and interest.
The Heart & Vascular Institute is the most extensive and expanding practice in the area, comprising a team of 15 employed cardiologists, including 4 interventional cardiologists and 3 electrophysiology specialists. Our practice is supported by 10 advanced practice clinicians who facilitate care delivery in both inpatient and outpatient environments. We operate across 5 locations while serving multiple hospitals in the surrounding region.
Our Heart and Vascular group also features 2 board-certified Cardiothoracic surgeons and 4 board-certified vascular surgeons. The service line handles a high volume of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures annually. This collaborative specialist team works closely together, including participation in a multidisciplinary valve clinic that enhances our robust TAVR and Structural Heart Program, which is the only TAVR program within a significant driving distance.
We offer an employment opportunity with no overhead or buy-in requirements.
The call schedule is 1:9 for weeknights and 1:3 for weekends.
