Key Responsibilities
As an ERP Project Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight of the planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle PeopleSoft and other ERP software initiatives. Your extensive project management expertise, particularly with Oracle PeopleSoft applications and ERP systems, will be crucial in leading diverse teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful project outcomes that meet quality standards.
Your duties will include:
- Leading the comprehensive planning, execution, and monitoring of ERP software projects from inception to completion.
- Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Creating detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets while managing resources for timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Overseeing cross-functional teams, including internal staff, external consultants, and vendors, to foster effective collaboration.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
- Monitoring project progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, best practices, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitating stakeholder meetings and training sessions to gather requirements and promote user adoption of ERP solutions.
- Managing change requests and assessing their impact on project timelines and resources.
- Conducting post-implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant project management experience, particularly in Oracle PeopleSoft and ERP software implementations. PMP certification or other relevant certifications is advantageous. Prior experience with Oracle PeopleSoft applications in a project management role is highly desirable.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong foundation in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft applications, including Financials, Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Basic understanding of technical concepts related to ERP systems, such as database management and system integrations.
- Experience in change management principles to lead organizational change initiatives.
Work Environment:
This position is performed in an office setting, requiring the ability to operate standard office equipment. Light to moderate lifting may be necessary, along with the ability to walk short distances and perform various physical tasks.
