Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish project priorities and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all project aspects.
- Direct project teams across various disciplines and organizations.
- Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends relevant to assigned projects.
- Monitor project management processes and propose enhancements for improved efficiency.
- Manage project budgets in close collaboration with finance and project controls teams.
- Coordinate with other project and line managers.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced project managers.
Principal Duties:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing project activities related to outages and on-line work, ensuring that all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This includes:
- Developing and tracking project budgets.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients, engineers, and management.
- Creating and managing contracts with vendors.
- Formulating project schedules that align with complexity and size.
- Mentoring junior project managers.
- Preparing and delivering reports and presentations to senior management.
- Supporting long-term strategic planning for assigned projects.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with twenty years of experience in a technical domain. Alternatively, an AA/AS degree with twenty-two years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with twenty-four years of experience may be considered. A Project Management certification is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
An advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous. Extensive experience in supervisory or project management roles within the commercial nuclear industry is highly desirable.
