Principal Duties:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing project activities related to outages and on-line work, ensuring that all tasks are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This includes:

  • Developing and tracking project budgets.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients, engineers, and management.
  • Creating and managing contracts with vendors.
  • Formulating project schedules that align with complexity and size.
  • Mentoring junior project managers.
  • Preparing and delivering reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Supporting long-term strategic planning for assigned projects.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with twenty years of experience in a technical domain. Alternatively, an AA/AS degree with twenty-two years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with twenty-four years of experience may be considered. A Project Management certification is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

An advanced degree in a relevant field is advantageous. Extensive experience in supervisory or project management roles within the commercial nuclear industry is highly desirable.
