The Role

">

As a CNC Manufacturing Supervisor at Schivo Medical, you will play a critical role in overseeing the production process and ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of CNC operators, providing training and development opportunities, and collaborating with other departments to achieve production goals.

Key Qualifications

">
  • 2-4 years of experience as a lead or supervisor in a CNC machine shop
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • High school diploma required
  • Strong Microsoft skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management
  • Ability to develop presentations
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging environment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485
  • Strong diligence and organizational skills
  • Experience with blueprint reading/literacy, including geometric dimensions and tolerance (GD&T), preferred
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, prove facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Communication Skills - Ability to coordinate efforts to produce results
  • Strong leadership Skills - Ability to promote excellence in all employees and build a winning culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the CNC machining industry
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies desired

Responsibilities

">
  • Supervise and manage a team of CNC operators and machinists
  • Ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards
  • Oversee the production process and ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure production goals are met
  • Daily/monthly/annual production efficiency reports
  • Approve weekly employee time sheets
  • Purchase and track production tools/materials
  • Complete employee training records
  • Production employee performance tracking and annual reviews
  • Perform internal production department audits
  • Liaison between VP of operations and production employees, maintenance staff, and other departments, suppliers, and contractors
  • Assist in continuous improvement programs
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude, cooperate with coworkers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
