Compensation Overview


The annual base salary range for this position is $117,200.00 - $193,400.00, depending on factors such as the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience. In addition to the base salary, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.



About the Opportunity


We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer II to join our team as we continue to grow and transform our Technology landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing advanced end-to-end engineering tasks for specific system assignments, including designing, developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on user or system specifications. They will also consult with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications, manage interaction between the systems and other technical support areas, and define technical requirements and coordinate team resources to solve problems.



Key Responsibilities


The Software Engineer II will perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions with a high degree of accuracy and speed, operating as an individual contributor to team goals. They will also perform analysis, assessment, and resolution for defects and incidents of advanced complexity and escalate appropriately. Additionally, they will work independently to tackle well-scoped and loosely scoped problems, seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities, provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees, and perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements


To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have at least five years of experience in React, Node.js, and .Net, as well as intermediate delivery skills including the ability to estimate accurate timelines for tasks and deliver work at a steady, predictable pace to achieve commitments. They will also need to have demonstrated track record of domain expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
