Job Overview

As a key member of our team, the Business Controller will play a crucial role in driving financial planning and analysis for our service environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of management accounting and operational reporting, as well as providing management with information and recommendations on financial transactions, operational costs, and other key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Management Accounting: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of management accounting and operational reporting, including profitability reports for customers, projects, products, and agreements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Operational Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of operational reporting, including sales, orders, taxes, depreciation, property, and other asset values.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize business operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the Group's financial, legal, and IT policies, instructions, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in preparatory accounting, financial analysis, or Controller roles, preferably within a service environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with SAP, Siebel, or other large ERP systems.
