About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in our New Product Introduction (NPI) process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the successful transfer and qualification of embedded microcontroller-based circuit boards to a new manufacturing site.

ResponsibilitiesTechnology Transfer

Lead the transfer of embedded microcontroller-based circuit board production to a new contract manufacturer (CM). Collaborate closely with the CM to establish manufacturing processes, resolve technical queries, and address production challenges.

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and quality control procedures.

Qualification and Validation

Develop and execute test plans to validate product functionality and performance in accordance with quality standards. Oversee the qualification process, ensuring the CM meets all requirements and specifications.

Generate reports documenting qualification activities and results, adhering to ISO standards.

NPI Process Support

Contribute to the development and maintenance of our manufacturing readiness checklist. Identify and manage engineering change orders (ECOs) within Arena PLM system.

Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability and testability. Work cross-functionally with design engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launch.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on NPI for electronic products.

Hands-on experience with embedded microcontroller-based circuit board assembly and testing. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles, and ISO standards.

Proficiency in Arena PLM or a similar PLM system. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Experience working with contract manufacturers is a plus.
