Job Summary

As a Behavioral Health Support Specialist at Asociacion Puertorriquenos En Marcha Inc, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and well-being of children and youth in foster care. You will work closely with Resource Parents to provide training, support, and coaching to help them meet the needs of the children in their care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing weekly supervision and support to Resource Parents
  • Maintaining a maximum case load of 14 children and/or youth
  • Completing 40 hours of training in the first year and 20 annually thereafter, focused on trauma and behavioral health
  • Performing initial and quarterly home inspections
  • Providing face-to-face support to Resource Parents at a minimum of two times per month
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Crisis Response Plans and SBH RP Support Plans
  • Ensuring compliance with medication administration documentation and PA Chapter 3700
