Job Description

The HVAC Technician performs various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of assigned HVAC and refrigeration equipment and controls. This includes troubleshooting, calibrating, and adjusting pilots, thermostats, and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches, and controls on electrical systems.

In addition to regular maintenance, the technician will also be responsible for identifying maintenance risks on equipment, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems, and performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent required
  • Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
  • Three (3) years of HVAC experience preferred
  • Possession of refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred
