Position Overview
The Automotive Quality Assurance Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring that our wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to assess mechanical and electrical functionality, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
  • Accurately identify and document any defects or inconsistencies found during inspections.
  • Effectively communicate inspection results to management, supervisors, and production teams.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements to enhance quality processes.
  • Engage in quality audits and training sessions, offering insights on how to boost operational efficiency.
  • Perform regular checks on diagnostic tools and equipment to guarantee their accuracy and functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with Freedom Motors' quality and safety standards, as well as OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in vehicle inspection or quality control within the transportation or logistics sector is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Ability to analyze data, perform calculations, interpret blueprints, and possess basic computer skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a readiness to tackle new challenges, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude consistently.
  • Reliable attendance and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
