Job Description

Cherokee Grill is seeking a skilled Prep Cook to contribute to the success of their Gatlinburg location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and products for the kitchen station with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assemble ingredients according to menu specifications and maintain a high level of quality control.
  • Develop a strong understanding of new menu items and specials, and adapt to changing menu requirements.

Requirements:

  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and more on occasion, with assistance.
  • Math skills and understanding of basic conversions.
  • Proficiency in using a digital scale and thermometer.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Prefer prior kitchen line experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
