Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Orthopedic Clinic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to pediatric orthopedic trauma patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:- Comprehensive care of pediatric orthopedic trauma patients, including assessment, interpretation of diagnostic imaging, and coordination of care.
- Managing acute trauma conditions and follow-up care for infants through young adulthood.
- Participating in daily trauma rounds, including case conference on post-op patients and inpatient rounding as needed.
- First and second assisting in the OR with the trauma team as needed.
- Assisting in triaging acute trauma cases for surgery.
- Master's Degree from a Physician Assistant program or MSN.
- Current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse license.
- Previous experience as a PA/NP in pediatrics, orthopedics, or a related area is strongly preferred.
- Strong desire to work in the pediatric orthopedic setting.
- Ability to work in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and ambulatory staff.
