Job Title: Assistant Athletic Trainer

As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch medical care to our student-athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being during competition and practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency care, injury evaluation, and rehabilitation services to student-athletes
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs to reduce the risk of injury
  • Collaborate with coaching staff, sports medicine staff, and team physicians to ensure comprehensive care
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • BOC certification and NYS Education Department Certification (eligible)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse population of student-athletes, parents, coaches, and administrators
