Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Estimating Manager to join our National Response Team at Jenkins Services Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial estimating process, negotiating construction and restoration projects, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the commercial estimating team in all facets, including estimating, negotiating, and project management.
  • Develop and implement estimating strategies to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to determine job qualifications and develop effective project plans.
  • Assign estimates to team members based on location, specialty, and project timeline.
  • Review and approve estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.
  • Interface with clients and insurance adjusters to resolve estimating and project-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and co-workers to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial estimating, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating software, including Xactimate and T&M Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively for project management and business development.
