We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with diverse needs, utilizing your expertise in ventilators and other technical equipment.
Responsibilities- Deliver therapeutic, diagnostic, and patient teaching services to patients with respiratory conditions.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Respiratory Care Degree from a Regionally Accredited, CoARC certified RT program.
- One year of experience in an Intensive Care or Critical Care Unit, or equivalent clinical experience.
- Licensure as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State of WA and active CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to pass a medical examination to determine physical ability to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy (BSRT) or Bachelor of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy (BASRT) from a Regionally Accredited, CoARC certified RT program.
