Job Responsibilities and Requirements

As an Intermediate Care Nurse, you will:

  • Conduct nursing assessments, develop care plans, and implement treatment for all assigned patients.
  • Perform initial evaluations and determine patient acuity levels.
  • Administer treatments, medications, and procedures within your scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with management, team leaders, physicians, and other departments to coordinate patient care.
  • Delegate tasks to support staff while maintaining accountability for those assignments.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of residence.
  • BLS certification obtained within 90 days of employment.
