Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Join a thriving family healthcare facility dedicated to delivering exceptional medical services to patients across all age groups. We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to become an integral part of our team.

About Us: Our clinic is part of a clinically integrated network focused on providing high-quality, coordinated care while optimizing healthcare costs. We cater to a diverse patient population with various insurance plans, excluding Medicaid.

Work Schedule: Enjoy a flexible work schedule with full-time hours ranging from 28 to 36 hours per week, plus 4 hours dedicated to administrative tasks. Candidates should be available for one evening shift per week and one to two half-day Saturday shifts monthly. The clinic operates with an average patient volume of approximately 2.5 patients per hour, with appointment durations alternating between 15 to 30 minutes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the physician-owner and a team of three other APPs.
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients aged 12 months and older, making informed treatment decisions to achieve health objectives.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories to determine diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
  • Evaluate and administer necessary immunizations.
  • Educate patients on chronic disease management, medication adherence, and overall health compliance.
  • Perform minor procedures, including joint injections and skin treatments.
  • Manage prescriptions and refills as required.
  • Conduct wellness exams for men, women, and children over the age of one.
  • Provide virtual care as needed.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Preference for candidates with prior outpatient primary care experience.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply, especially those with previous ER or ICU experience.
  • Possess an unrestricted license to practice as a PA or NP in Texas.
  • Certification in Family Practice with active status during employment.
  • DEA certification required.
