Intake and Admissions Coordinator

About the Role:
The Intake and Admissions Coordinator will play a vital role in promoting services and collaborating with healthcare providers to facilitate patient admissions. This position requires strong communication and data entry skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiry and intake calls in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Assist with administrative duties, including data entry and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and clinical coordinators to gather information for treatment plans.
- Provide feedback to referral sources and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Intake & Admissions.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from a college or technical school.
- One year of related experience and/or training.
- Strong computer and telephone skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
