About the Role:

The Intake and Admissions Coordinator will play a vital role in promoting services and collaborating with healthcare providers to facilitate patient admissions. This position requires strong communication and data entry skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to inquiry and intake calls in a professional and compassionate manner.
  2. Assist with administrative duties, including data entry and documentation.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and clinical coordinators to gather information for treatment plans.
  4. Provide feedback to referral sources and maintain confidentiality.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Intake & Admissions.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from a college or technical school.
  • One year of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong computer and telephone skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
