Medicaid Program Advisor

Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) is seeking a highly skilled Medicaid Program Advisor to join our team. As a Medicaid Program Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the Bureau of Adult Special Populations (BASP) in its mission to promote health, independence, and quality of life for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, chronic illnesses, and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Office of Mental Health, the Aids Institute, the Office of Addiction Services and Supports, and the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities to cultivate excellence in collaboration, program development, special projects, and policy knowledge and implementation.
- Support the BASP's vision to fully integrate the Health Home (HH) program with larger systems of care.
- Monitor HH providers based on performance, quality, and compliance with Federal and State Standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to research, develop, and implement initiatives, such as creating robust referral and discharge planning workflows with hospitals.
- Drive integration with Health Related Social Care Networks (HRSN) to promote strong relationships with HHs.
- Analyze data and other performance metrics to inform the development or modification of program operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize across multiple assignments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- The ability to think creatively and strategically in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- The ability to manage complex projects and deliverables.
- The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in a healthcare-related field, including research, healthcare policy, Behavioral Health, Substance Use Disorders, or Intellectual and/or Developmental Disability, and quality monitoring or improvement projects.
Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors, including the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
