Senior Loan Closer Job Description

As a Senior Loan Closer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth closing process of our mortgage loans. Your primary function will be to review and approve closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness. You will work closely with loan processors, production staff, and closing agents to meet closing deadlines and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve closing documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Work closely with loan processors, production staff, and closing agents to meet closing deadlines
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is included and reviewed for accuracy
  • Coordinate with lenders, communities, and escrow coordinators to ensure a smooth closing process
  • Monitor fees and revenue to ensure proper collection and reconciliation

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in mortgage closing and/or processing
  • Strong computer background with experience in mortgage software and Excel/Word
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of office procedures
  • Current knowledge of closing and title requirements
