Job Overview

We are seeking a HVAC Installation Team Leader to oversee our installation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise HVAC Install Apprentices in the execution and completion of HVAC mechanical and electrical system installations.
  • Deliver a positive, proactive, and customer-focused service, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all HVAC installations.
  • Organize work, delegate tasks, prioritize assignments, set schedules, ensure quality control, and provide on-the-job training as necessary.
  • Maintain documentation by completing records and installation paperwork.
  • Execute a variety of installations for different HVAC systems and accessories, adhering to company standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations.
  • Understand HVAC system operating principles, safety practices, and general OSHA standards relevant to HVAC work.
  • Possess knowledge of tools, methods, and equipment used in the installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
  • Carry out daily responsibilities with minimal supervision in the field.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and colleagues regarding inquiries, concerns, and issues. Promote products and services to clients.
  • Keep accurate inventory records and maintain tools on the assigned installation vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current Oklahoma HVAC Journeyman certification.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
  • Professional appearance and effective communication skills with customers.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical instructions.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Familiarity with equipment, tools, and methods used in HVAC installations.
  • Willingness to learn through both classroom and hands-on experiences.
  • Proficient in computer applications relevant to timekeeping and scheduling.
  • Punctuality and adherence to a daily schedule with multiple appointments.
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive; successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check is mandatory.
