Goldbelt Frontier is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our health technology management operations, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating regulated maintenance activities within our Equipment Maintenance Department (EMD).
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate regulated maintenance activities to ensure maintenance documentation for laboratory instrumentation complies with regulatory requirements.
- Track equipment used in regulated studies, develop and recommend maintenance intervals, and coordinate due dates and maintenance procedures.
- Manage related maintenance documentation and track the submission and completion of work requests for the repair of malfunctioning laboratory equipment.
- Coordinate routine and unscheduled maintenance services on complex laboratory instrumentation, ensuring equipment availability and possible decontamination prior to service.
- Provide assistance in tracking and managing nonexpendable equipment used in regulated studies, maintaining accurate hand receipt documentation, and interfacing with equipment custodians or study directors.
- Assist internal customers with technical assistance in researching vendors and sources for medical device/medical device system equipment and service-related purchase requests.
- Review and facilitate regulated equipment maintenance checklists, medical device/medical device systems, and SOPs requiring EMD actions and/or signatures.
- Communicate effectively with the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR), both orally and in writing, and follow directions in detail with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum five (5) or more years of related experience.
- Experience as a lead, scheduling work, and/or overseeing and mentoring technical work of others.
- Experience performing biomedical equipment maintenance, repair, and maintenance cycles on Military Medical Equipment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a T3 (National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)) clearance.
- Military experience desired.
