Job Summary:

The Biomedical Equipment Repairer will be responsible for performing acceptance testing, periodic maintenance, and repair of medical and laboratory equipment at the USAMRIID facility. This includes buildings 1425, 1412, 1430, 1301, and the new facility building 8100. The successful candidate will also be responsible for entering administrative information into the DMLSS system, verifying maintenance activities, and coordinating with vendors and customers as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform acceptance testing, periodic maintenance, and repair of medical and laboratory equipment
  • Enter administrative information into the DMLSS system
  • Verify maintenance activities
  • Coordinate with vendors and customers
  • Dispose of medical maintenance equipment and items in accordance with regulations
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum five (5) or more years of related experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • T3 Secret (National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
  • Must be able to pass BPRP
