ROLE SUMMARY

Under the guidance of the Product Owner for Central Reservations Systems Products, this role may lead collaborative sessions and act as a technical authority. The position involves working closely with both client and IT teams to outline functional requirements and design solutions that align with the client's strategic objectives and future business aspirations.

Conduct independent research to proactively discover and evaluate opportunities and solutions that can drive enhancements. Utilize technical expertise to inform technology capabilities and functionalities for clients. Assist the IT Architecture & Development team in clarifying functional requirements and designs during the solution development phase.


CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT application design or development
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/certification
  • Proven knowledge in the relevant field
Skills:
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and manage project execution within IT
  • Comprehensive technical background across various components, including infrastructure, networks, applications, data, and information security
  • Strong process management and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred:
  • Exceptional analytical skills for addressing complex and unusual problems
  • Strong communication abilities, including experience in facilitating requirements analysis and functional design sessions
  • Familiarity with existing information architecture and application portfolio
  • Proven capability to assess client needs and creatively devise solutions
  • Experience in identifying and analyzing solutions for intricate business requirements
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Technical Leadership
  • Facilitates sessions for requirements analysis and functional design, including the creation of business requirements documentation
  • Identifies innovative solutions to business needs, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of alternatives while providing recommendations
  • Collaborates with client organizations, including business analysts
  • Documents functional, integration, and testing requirements, as well as service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Works with the IT Architecture & Development team during the development phase to clarify functional requirements and designs

IT Governance
  • Adheres to established technology standards and processes, providing feedback for improvements to relevant process owners as necessary
