Job Overview

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator (Windows) Level III to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and security of our desktop systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Senior Systems Administrator will act as a crucial escalation point for the Help Desk and the user community.
  • Primary duties include managing central desktop services, specifically utilizing BigFix for Windows OS to provision and deploy computers effectively.
  • Responsibilities also encompass desktop software deployments, system patching, centralized antivirus management, group policy management, and security endpoint oversight for all desktop systems.
  • Collaboration with technical staff and management is essential to address various operational issues and enhance office automation networks.
  • Regular reporting on progress, tool development for system-wide applications, and comprehensive system documentation are expected.
  • Monitoring and responding to application and system alerts according to established protocols is a critical function of this role.
  • Effective communication during major incidents and timely documentation of problem investigations in designated systems are required.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant IT customer support experience, or an Associate degree/H.S. diploma with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience is required.
  • A Level 5 (NACIC) security clearance is necessary, or the ability to obtain it within six (6) months of employment.
  • Strong technical computer skills and customer service abilities are essential.
  • At least a Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) v3 is required, along with one or more of the following certifications:
    • MSCE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
    • Jamf Certified Expert
    • GSEC: GIAC Security Essentials
    • GCWN: GIAC Certified Windows Security Administrator
    • (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
