Position: Midstream Electrician

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proficient electrician to manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components associated with industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues throughout our facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilizing electrical tools and instruments to fabricate or repair components and equipment.
  • Operating mobile machinery as required.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment function effectively, following diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications.
  • Designing, constructing, and repairing electrical circuits for tools and equipment.
  • Testing electronic circuits with instruments like digital voltmeters to identify faults.
  • Inspecting, dismantling, and maintaining equipment across the facility.
  • Testing plant instruments, including pneumatics and flow systems.
  • Complying with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of all electrical equipment and circuits in the facility.
  • Identifying equipment for proper lockout procedures.
  • Collaborating with various departments to provide necessary electrical support for maintenance challenges.
  • Documenting significant incidents during shifts electronically.
  • Conducting safety audits to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions.
  • Assembling, installing, and testing electrical and electronic systems.
  • Troubleshooting motor circuits and understanding electrical blueprints.
  • Ensuring the proper upkeep of electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a process manufacturing environment.
  • 1-3 years of electrical experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong safety commitment and positive representation of the company's safety culture.
  • Ability to read and interpret operational and safety manuals.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Word and Excel.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability for a standard Monday-Friday schedule with on-call availability for emergencies.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Capacity to work in a noisy and hot environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check.

Compensation: $24-$40 per hour
