The role of the Kitchen Sanitation Specialist is vital to our operations. This position is responsible for ensuring that all kitchen tools and dining ware are impeccably clean and ready for use. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the seamless flow of our restaurant's services.

Upon joining our team, you will receive thorough training tailored to your responsibilities, emphasizing safety and sanitation protocols. You will learn our kitchen standards and contribute positively within a team-oriented service environment. Adherence to company policies and procedures is essential, including the completion of assigned opening, ongoing, and closing tasks.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Possession of a Food Handlers Card
  • Effective verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and usage
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Capability to train others in processes and culture

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute opening and closing tasks as assigned
  • Thoroughly wash all soiled dishes, glassware, and utensils following proper procedures
  • Assist with the stocking of supplies and perishables as directed by the Chef or Sous Chef
  • Participate in maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen area
  • Efficiently load and unload dishware from the dishwasher to designated storage
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized dishwashing area
  • Follow all instructions from management
  • Report to a supervisor before concluding your shift
  • Adhere to the maintenance and cleaning schedule
  • Promptly notify management of any safety concerns
  • Communicate any relevant information regarding shift activities
