Job Description:

Mosaic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in.NET development, with experience in API integrations, React native applications, and modernization of legacy scripting. You will also be responsible for providing oversight of functional.NET applications, participating in Agile SDLC, and implementing tools and practices to prevent security breaches.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Create and maintain applications to support business functions using.NET and React native.
  2. Maintain middleware functions to support data interfaces from on prem, cloud, and SaaS data sources.
  3. Participate in an Agile SDLC.
  4. Implements tools and practices to prevent security breaches and other exposures.
  5. Lead root cause analysis for production errors and recommend fixes for code, application design and architecture.
  6. Facilitates code reviews, product rollouts, fixes, and updates as needed.
  7. Contribute in establishing naming conventions, development standards, branching and merging of code and standard operating procedures for the development team.
  8. Develop and maintain a technical roadmap to take advantage of technology features introduced in new releases.
  9. Mentors and supports junior members of the development team on an as needed basis to help them develop technical skills and best practices.
  10. Meets with customers and the project team to determine application requirements.
  11. Reviews requirements to estimate development work effort.
  12. Analyzes system requirements and development tasks.
  13. Develops technical specifications.
  14. Make recommendations on the application development, design and architecture.
  15. Writes secure and scalable code for.NET software applications.
  16. Reviews and debugs.NET applications.
  17. Deploys functional websites, programs, and applications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate Mosaic's 7 Essential Practices of Leadership.
  • Strong understanding and experience with C#,.NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, Razor Pages, Web API, JQuery, CSS (SAAS/Bootstrap), HTML5, SQL Query, Stored Procedure, Azure Functions, CI/CD Pipeline and Azure PaaS and DevOps tools and platforms.
  • Experience with designing database schema, stored procedures, trigger and user defined functions in MS SQL Server environment.
  • Knowledge of Project management skills preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices for application design and development.
  • Ability to design and implement intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience with building and integrating applications using SOA and Micro services.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
  • Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience building applications with modern web technologies and leading development teams. Experience with strictly regulated fields is preferred (e.g. HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, etc).
