Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with their dialysis treatment, including setting up and operating hemodialysis machines
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse
- Provide education to patients and their families on dialysis treatment and related health issues
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive high-quality care
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and progress
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least two years of experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred
- Successful completion of the FMCNA dialysis training program and CPR certification required
The Patient Care Technician will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff. The position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of patients and equipment. The employee may be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
