About the Job

The AR Ecosystem System Engineer will play a critical role in driving the success of our Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This position requires a strong technical background, with a focus on system-level engineering and software development.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) through the software compliance and certification process.
  • Drive technical project kickoffs, set OEM expectations, and triage OEM issues.
  • Evaluate and scope support for new projects, identifying gaps and concerns.
  • Solve issues and manage access to OEM code, minimizing issues brought up to core AR engineering.
  • Triage OEM issues and summarize OEM feedback, common issues, and provide recommendations back to the Product Management and core AR engineering team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a professional setting with Cross Reality (XR) technology.
  • 2 years of experience with interactions between hardware and software at the system level.
  • 2 years of experience coding in a general-purpose coding language (e.g., Java, C, or C++).
  • Preferred qualifications: Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience managing technical projects in a professional setting, including business communication.
  • 8 years of experience in technical troubleshooting of compute or networking systems.
  • Knowledge of Android or Unity app development.
  • Knowledge of Android platform development, build, and tools.
  • Knowledge of Android and the XR technology stack across all layers.
Compensation

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$218,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.
