Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

The Program Manager will be responsible for the holistic management of diverse educational programs, including coordinating training sessions, orientations, and regular engagements with partner institutions. This role will also oversee numerous evaluations across the state, ensuring that the performance management of evaluators adheres to our stringent standards.

The Program Manager will serve as the primary liaison for participating institutions, employing exceptional relationship management skills to strengthen connections within educational and community arts partners. This role is also integral to managing key events and educational programs, contributing significantly to the sustainability and growth of arts education with an emphasis on DEIAB principles.

Responsibilities include managing registration processes, event planning, vendor coordination, budget administration, and developing strategic communication plans to advance our educational goals and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Requirements
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and respond to the needs of the program and its participants effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Arts Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is required
  • Strong background in managing budgets with a focus on efficient allocation and monitoring of financial resources
  • Familiarity with vendor management and nurturing community partnerships, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration with external partners.
  • Proven experience in curriculum design and educational program management, with the ability to develop and implement educational content that is engaging and relevant
  • Demonstrated ability to foster safe and inclusive environments that support the well-being and development
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to connect and collaborate with diverse communities and stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including proficiency in public speaking and the ability to clearly convey complex information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, detail-oriented, and consistently meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Arts Education, Nonprofit Management, or Public Administration is highly preferred, reflecting advanced understanding of program management in educational or arts-based settings
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to strategize and execute outreach programs that enhance community involvement and support
  • Knowledge of arts education practices and current educational methodologies that can be applied to enhance program offerings
  • Experience with grant writing and fundraising, including tracking and reporting on grant compliance and outcomes to support program sustainability and expansion
  • Competence in compliance and regulatory matters affecting arts and educational programming
  • Minimum of four (4) years of proven experience in leading and overseeing multiple programs, including responsibilities in program management, development, and evaluation
