Production Control Training Associate Job Description

The Production Control Training Associate is a critical team member responsible for training material handlers in all aspects of their role. A successful candidate will be an expert performer of material handling tasks, an up-and-coming leader, and a champion of Tesla's culture and values.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper PPE use, safe use of PIT equipment, and adherence to standard work instructions
  • Communicate process changes to material handling teams using JIRA and maintain accurate records of certifications and policies
  • Train and certify material handlers to perform production control processes using the Versatility Chart system
  • Maintain expertise by working as a material handler and observing team performance, while being capable of filling in for team leads as needed
  • Facilitate onboarding of new material handlers, create training content, and communicate with colleagues using Outlook

Requirements

A successful candidate will have 1+ year of warehouse experience, in-depth knowledge of PC processes, and expertise in PIT equipment operation. Proficiency in MS Office software and strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
