Position Summary:
The Senior SAP FICO Specialist will serve as the functional lead for the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. This role is pivotal in steering the solution design and overseeing the implementation of FICO within the SAP S/4 HANA record-to-report process area.
As a key member of the SAP Center of Excellence, you will report to the Senior Manager and collaborate with global business stakeholders and IT personnel to effectively plan and execute finance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take ownership of the solution as a member of the Acushnet SAP COE, acting as the primary liaison with both internal and external resources for a global greenfield implementation.
2. Identify best practices, design, and construct our global SAP FICO solution.
3. Analyze business process gaps, create test plans, and convert requirements into specifications.
4. Collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions and execute testing during the rollout phase.
5. Provide operational support, including end-user assistance and system troubleshooting.
6. Manage changes and enhancements through the change management process, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and users.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in information systems, finance, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP platform configuration, including 3-4 years in brownfield/greenfield deployment of SAP S/4.
- Comprehensive life cycle implementation experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Proficient in configuration in key areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and more.
- Familiarity with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management.
- Strong technical knowledge and integration experience with other SAP functional areas.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective automation and systems solutions.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
